How to use
Easy to use
The Vicks WarmSteam Vaporizer is easy to use.
- Fill the water container to the MAX water level
- For added comfort, pour Vicks VapoSteam or Vicks VapoSteam Double Strength directly into the water or into the vaporizer cup
- Place the vaporizer into position
- Plug in and switch on power
Cleaning
The Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer does not require cleaning tablets. After each use, empty any unused water from the container, rinse thoroughly and drain and wipe with a dry, clean cloth. The stainless steel heater is also easy to clean. After prolonged use (greater than 150 hours) the heater surface should be cleaned. To do this, simply soak the unit in 8cm of white vinegar for 10 minutes, then using a butter knife to gently remove any minerals from the metal heater surface.

Carefully supervise young children when the vaporizer is operating. Although air intake vents provide 25% lower temperature and are safer than conventional vaporizer, steam could still cause burns.
Do not direct steam flow directly at patient, walls or furniture.
Steam can cause burns. This appliance is not intended for use by children without supervision. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
When handling the steam unit, grasp from the rear of the steam unit.
Do not overfill. Do not use any other brand of inhalant as it may damage the unit and void the warranty.
